Sassy was my foundation here at OshoZen - she was everything an Akita should be and then some. Power, Elegance, Dignity and a wonderful mother. Boy did she love those babies. She was beautiful and carried the most gorgeous coat - so many passer bys would ask me how I managed to shave that coat so evenly all over to make it grow so perfect and so soft - smile - that's just how she was - perfect to me. Coats like hers - you just can't make em.
Sassy leaves behind a legacy at OshoZen in her daughters Punkin & Belle and granddaughter Aime. Her power can be felt in their every move and her elegance is unmistakable. Thank you my darlin for all you have shared with me and given me these last 7 seven years you were with us.
It was amazing to watch her strut where ever she went - carrying her tail high on her back even as a 10 year old veteran. Such grace through...such pain...
Sassy was helped across the Rainbow bridge 14 June 2003 as a result of complications from breast cancer.
Gods Speed Mamou...no more pain...rest in peace until we meet again. |
